It maps clusters, devices, network ports, gateways, sessions, lease pools, access policies and SSL certificates onto vendor-neutral objects and rebuilds their relationships on every collection cycle. It gives administrators one view of VPN device health, connected users, address-pool utilization and certificate expiry, with dashboards, custom groups and alerts that apply to both vendors without per-vendor configuration.
VCF SAN Insight - a multi-vendor Fibre Channel SAN management pack for VVF & VCF Cloud Operations that monitors Broadcom Brocade switches running Fabric OS and Cisco MDS 9000 switches and directors over NX-API through one shared object model. It maps fabrics, switches, ports, chassis and zones onto vendor-neutral objects, rebuilds their relationships on every collection cycle, and follows a Fibre Channel port down to the SFP optics and up to the ESXi host and storage array behind it. Dashboards, custom groups and alerts apply to both vendors without per-vendor configuration.
VCF Backup Storage Insight - a multi-vendor management pack for VVF & VCF Cloud Operations that monitors the storage layer of a backup environment: Quantum DXi backup appliances and Commvault Storage Targets through one shared object model. It collects system status, capacity per appliance and per pool with a fill prediction in days, deduplication and compression ratios, write and read throughput, and the replication state with the lag measured against the recovery point objective. It complements VCF Backup Insight, which monitors the backup software, so a repository and the jobs that fill it are visible side by side.
VCF Network Insight - a multi-vendor LAN management pack for VVF & VCF Cloud Operations that monitors H3C core and aggregation switches and routers and Huawei CloudEngine switches through one shared object model. It collects the device inventory, reachability and administrative state, the CPU, memory and disk utilisation, the temperature and power supply and fan state, and the per-port administrative and operational status, speed, MTU, MAC address, duplex mode and error counters. It extends the VCF Network Insight family alongside the Cisco Prime, Juniper Junos Space and Check Point packs, with the same dashboards, alerts and custom groups.
